Thank you to all who registered for the 2023 NWT Recreation and Parks Annual Conference. As confirmed by our Conference organization team, due to the wildfire situation in the NWT, the 2023 "Open Arms, Open Spaces" Conference had to be postponed to October 22-24, 2024, at the Explorer Hotel in Sǫ̀mba K’è/Yellowknife.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you purchased a ticket for the 2023 Conference (membership included), you can choose from one of the following three options:
1. The NWTRPA will reimburse the full amount via cheque. You only need to email us at admin@nwtrpa.org and include the following:
Full name of the registered person and the name of the organization or person the cheque will be directed to.
Mailing address.
2. The NWTRPA will reimburse the Conference ticket portion but will hold onto the amount for your 1-year individual membership. This will automatically allow you to have your say and vote at the NWTRPA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 15, 2023, and you will be able to enjoy all the membership benefits for 1 year.
3. You can hold onto your ticket for the 2024 NWTRPA Conference and keep your membership for this year and next, without paying any extra fees. This means you would receive an additional 1-year individual membership for free, and the price of your ticket will not be affected in the case of a price increase.
