The NWT Recreation and Parks Association

(NWTRPA) is a membership-based organization.

​

The NWT Recreation and Parks Association works with

communities across the NWT to promote recreation by supporting leaders, communities, and partners through training, advocacy, and networking. Since its inception in 1989, the non-profit has become the leading voice of recreation and on the land leaders in the NWT.

The NWTRPA is a member of the Canadian Recreation and Parks Association, a national organization dedicated to realizing the full potential of parks and recreation as a major contributor to community health and vibrancy.

The NWTRPA is also a partner of the NWT On The Land Collaborative, a collective of diverse partners pooling their expertise and resources to support on the land programming in the NWT.
